  An engaging session was conducted as part of the English Club activities today. The session focused on developing the students’ listening, comprehension, questioning, and debating skills. A video based on the folk tale CINDRELLA was played for the students. They were asked to watch the video attentively and frame suitable questions based on the story. This activity encouraged students to observe carefully, understand the sequence of events, and frame meaningful questions independently. The session also included a lively debate on two thought-provoking topics: “Who is Superior – Girls or Boys?” and “Is Friendship Good or Bad for the Progress of One’s Life?” Students participated enthusiastically, presenting their views with confidence and supporting their arguments with relevant points. Overall, the activities provided an enjoyable platform for students to enhance their communication, critical thinking, creativity, listening, questioning, and public-speaking skills.  

 In today's Shakespeare's English Club, we conducted an engaging session on Language Games, aimed at enhancing students’ communication skills, creativity, spontaneity and confidence in using English. The session featured two exciting games: “Spin a Yarn” and “Shipwreck.” In Spin a Yarn, students created and continued stories using their imagination, developing their vocabulary, fluency and storytelling skills. Shipwreck encouraged students to think quickly, express their opinions, justify their choices and interact confidently with their peers. The activities created a lively and enjoyable learning environment where students participated enthusiastically. The session successfully combined learning with fun, while strengthening students’ speaking, listening, creative-thinking and teamwork skills. Overall, the Language Games session was an enriching and memorable experience for the students.
